Not just a festival, but a feast…

As if the English Heritage Festival of History isn’t already exciting enough, the programme for the first ever Festival of Historical Literature has just been released. This will also be happening  over the weekend of 16/17 July at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire, and it looks marvellous.

Speakers include Michael Morpurgo, Andrew Taylor, Tom Holland, Adrian Goldsworthy, Simon Scarrow, Laura Wilson, Harry Sidebottom, Ben Kane, Manda Scott, Michael Jecks, CC Humphreys, and many more  – initial details are here.

Tickets are free once the festival entry fee has been paid.

  1. Caveat Emptor was brillant! thank you so much for the doctor/investigator, all so dry Ruso and the ever magical Tilla!! i can’t wait for your new book. What will happen to those two next? L

    1. Thank you Lori! At this stage in writing Book 5 I’m starting to wish I was a bit clearer myself about what will happen to them next… but usually it all comes together in the end.

  2. If anyone can figure it out, you’ll be able to. I have faith. i just hope that Tilla stays with Ruso and doesn’t go and live with the tribe that kept Camma’s baby. Ruso would be lost without her wit. They are a good team, sometimes they just don’t know it.

Albanus fits well with Ruso as well, so i hope to see him again too. He is so unappreciated!! HAAA

  3. Yes, I agree with Lori. Albanus – Ruso – Tilla made a good team. I know it seems strange, but I cried so much reading Coveat Emptor, especially by the end of it, and also when Ruso spoke ‘the language’ the moment they were about to take Camma’s baby. Thank you so much for the story! ^_^

    1. Thanks for the kind words! That ending just seemed to be the way the story wanted to go – I’m really glad you enjoyed it. (In a making-you-cry sort of way.)
