Check your Kindle on 10 December!
For readers who have an account with Amazon.com (the American site)- PERSONA NON GRATA, the third Ruso book, is scheduled to be the Kindle Daily Deal on Monday 10 December. Grab it while you can!
Win a copy of SEMPER FIDELIS!
As we Britons won’t be able to access the Deal, we’re having a free draw instead. For a chance to win one of three copies of the next Ruso novel, SEMPER FIDELIS, just let me know your email address on the form below (it won’t be passed on to anyone else) by 31 December.
Winners will be announced on the blog on 1 January.
Thanks for the tip.
Amazon is very odd about buying Kindle books. I live in Spain and normally buy paper books from Amazon UK. However, Amazon UK won’t let me buy Kindle books. But I can buy them from Amazon US! Weird.
The weirdness of book territories is beyond comprehension, Jonathan. Beyond mine, at least.
Update: Although I can buy Kindle books from Amazon US, it seems that the Daily Deal is off the menu.
Agh! That’s a shame, Jonathan. I’m told it is/was 99 cents, but that’s no help to you at all, I’m afraid. Sorry!
Jonathan, does this link not work for you, or can you just not purchase it?

Hello Dawn, thanks for your interest. I tried your link, and I see the same book page as before, with a notice on the right saying “This title is not available for customers from your location in: Europe”.
That’s a shame. Shall I make you an honorary UK resident and put your name into the draw for SEMPER FIDELIS?
Thanks for the offer, but I haven’t been resident in the UK since 1986, so I think that would be stretching it a bit! I may as well play by the rules.
That’s very decent of you. If I do this again it’ll have to be UK/Ireland/Spain.
Happy birthday to meeee!
Have a good birthday, Laurie!
I just happened to be randomly going through my Kindle wish list and noticed it for $0.99. I snagged the first one as a freebie last year, and when I finally read it a few months ago I fell in love. I then picked up the second immediately after. The only reason I held off on picking up the rest was because I felt I should make a dent in my kindle backlog first.
I’m most certainly excited to read the rest of the series. ^_^
Great to know you’re enjoying the series, Dawn. I know exactly what you mean about the Kindle backlog. Maybe if I live to be 100…
Greetings Ruth. I am awaiting “Semper Fidelis” with great anticipation. I have read every one of your books and find them unique and highly entertaining! They are what I call an easy read…the story unfolds smoothly and once started very difficult to put down. Anyone out there looking for a fascinating glimpse of life in that period of time should put your books at the top the list.
You are one of my favorite “Story Tellers”! May the muses continue to bless your creativity. Thankyou for sharing Tila and Ruso with us.
Thank you Roland! I hope you enjoy the new story. Best wishes for Christmas to you & yours.
